The Pittsburgh Penguins are the Stanley Cup Champions. From being on the outside of the playoff picture looking in back in December, they made a complete 180. It feels just like 2009.

The Penguins grabbed a few players from Canadian teams.

From the Canucks, they acquired Nick Bonino for Brett Sutter:

The Penguins grabbed Justin Schultz for a third round pick:

And the Leafs gave Tyler Biggs, Tim Erixon, and Phil Kessel for Kasperi Kapanen, Scott Harrington, Nick Spaling (who played for the Sharks in the Final), and a first round pick.

Congrats to the Cleveland Monsters on their Calder Cup Championship!

And to the Pittsburgh Penguins on their fourth Stanley Cup Championship and their second in JUST seven years.
